On September 27 and 28, the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and the Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Richmond and St. Louis, will host the second annual Banking and the Economy: A Forum for Minority Bankers in Kansas City. The forum is a component of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City's strategy to enhance the understanding of the Federal Reserve System and proactively engage with stakeholders who are often underrepresented at industry programs.  With this program, we seek to offer industry and professional development while expanding our network of minority contacts in banking.

The forum will address current economic conditions, banking, cultural intelligence, cybersecurity and leadership strategies. The target audience for the event is senior-level or high-potential middle management minority bank leaders interested in industry, leadership and professional development.  I hope that you will encourage attendance by sharing the forum agenda and registration information to your members through your Associations banking publications, e-blast, website, etc.  If you are able to share this opportunity please be sure that I am aware as I would like to acknowledge your support of this initiative.

If you have any questions about this forum or would like more details, please contact me via email at or at 816-881-2590.
