The Graduate School of Banking at Colorado (GSBC) has recently named two Denver-area bankers to its leadership boards.
Kevin Erickson, business banker, Home State Bank, Lafayette, has been named to the GSBC Board of Trustees. Jeff Benson, senior vice president correspondent services, Bankers’ Bank of the West, Denver, has been named to the GSBC Alumni Advisory Board.
Erickson is a 2005 graduate of GSBC, and has served as chair of the Alumni Association since 2009. He served as a member of the Colorado Bankers Association (CBA) board from 2008-2012, and received the CBA Banker of Distinction Award in 2009. He was recently named to Boulder Valley’s 2015 40 Under Forty, a list which recognizes emerging leaders who shape the future of Northern Colorado.
Benson is a 2007 graduate of GSBC. He manages Bankers’ Bank of the West’s correspondent banking division, leading its officers, product market strategy and production. He participates in various state banking conferences and events throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.
“Both Kevin and Jeff are accomplished young bankers, and will add valuable, fresh perspectives to these leadership boards. We are grateful for their leadership and service,” said GSBC President Tim Koch.
