N.Y. Fed's Williams: Rates will be normal in about a year

Interest rates will be at normal or neutral levels in "the next year or so," which will enable the Federal Reserve to respond to surprises that might call for rate changes, said John Williams, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The economy is expected to grow about 3% in 2018 and 2.5% in 2019, Williams said. Read more.
