Analysis: Shutdown could hurt US as fintech hub

The partial US government shutdown has put on hold crucial decision-making for financial-technology firms as regulators they deal with are indefinitely closed. With no sign the shutdown will end soon, "it's worth wondering just how much damage the dysfunction is ultimately wrecking the reputation of the U.S. as an attractive place to launch and do fintech business," Georgetown University law professor Chris Brummer writes.
