Lawsuit: CFPB failed to collect data required by Dodd-Frank

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau broke a provision of the Dodd-Frank Act by not collecting data from banks on loans made to women- and minority-owned small businesses, according to a lawsuit filed against the bureau by the California Reinvestment Coalition. The data would help identify "credit deserts," the group said. Read more.
