Lawmakers question scope of Fed's MSLP

The Congressional Oversight Commission discussed whether funds set aside for the Federal Reserve's Main Street Lending Program could be used elsewhere or if a change in parameters could draw more interest in the program during a hearing Friday. Only $530 million out of the $600 billion available has been loaned to businesses, which must have fewer than 15,000 employees or $5 billion in yearly revenue to be eligible.
